Why Choose A Professional Web Designer?

seo for good websiteS.E.O for Good WebsiteIt seems that almost every Tom Dick and Harry does web design in one form or another. Everyone seems to know a friend's brother's son who can build websites for real cheap. Why choose to pay the sometimes high fees that web designers charge?

There's a right way to build websites and there's a wrong way to build them.

There are a number of considerations when building a website. The first is that the website being created is search engine friendly. I've seen some websites built in such a way that search engines couldn't see more than the home page. This results in a fraction of the traffic potential that would otherwise result from the website.

Professional or Mickey Mouse?

A poorly designed website reflects on the business that it is attached to. When your prospects visit a website that is poorly created, they will tend to project that first impression onto the rest of the services that your company has to offer. This can affect everything, from how often you close sales, to how much you can charge a client. In other words, it hurts your bottom line.

Anyone can create a simple web page. How many people can create a professional image?

Bad Web DesignBad Web DesignWhat kind of recourse do you have?

If a high school kid is creating your website, and something goes wrong, or you spend months waiting for it, only to find out you wouldn't want to use it anyway, what can you do about it? When you choose a professional web design firm that can provide you with a list of satisfied customers, you can at least look at a track record you can count on.

You get what you pay for

contentwritingContent WritingIf you pay someone to build a simple website for you that ends up turning customers off, how much has that website really cost you? Getting a professional looking website may be more costly up front, but it will pay for itself many times over in the long run.

Communicate a consistent Business Image
By having your website created by a professional, and having the content of that website written by a good business writer, you can have a powerful ally towards increased business sales and customer satisfaction. Choosing the right professional website designer can go a long way towards helping you achieve your business goals.

Why Do People Need Web Sites?

creative approachCreative Approach

The procedure requires a creative approach as well. The idea of the web site must be promptly thought over: not so much, but with zest! Not to overdo with the ideas – is key, because when a person enters the site, he needs to find first of all, what he is interested in.

Nowadays, Web design is in great request over the Internet. Web design lies not only in the creation of web pages but all the content and management is included.

But it doesn’t mean that a consumer’s role is “petty” here. No, in no way! A client, in his turn, must plainly decide for himself what he wants people to see on his future site, in order, to have solid and authoritative web pages and capture the visitors’ attention.

If the customer does in such a way – it will be in a great help for the web designer and the rest of the team. Cooperation and joining forces together are very important elements here, with an eye to avoid misunderstanding.

The clients can host their sites on the free or paid servers as well. The difference between them, of course exists, while paid servers are more reliable and require fee (per month or year). But if a person is just a beginner in the sphere of web design, and wants to have his own site – he can make an attempt to allocate it on the free server. Though, here again, mostly, depends on the tasks and involvement of the client.

Having a web site is not so much the question of prestige, but is one more possibility to announce and advertise the business today. Many companies develop themselves with the help of web design: earn money, upgrade their image; it is a great advantage to find new partners, and to draw the clients’ attention and develop the business.

Your Site Made Easy

web designWeb DesignWhen visitors get onto your site, for sure, you want to make sure that they will quickly and easily find what they are looking for. if they do not find it fast, chances are they will go on to another site. If your web site is easy to use and understand, these visitors then have a tendency to come back again and again.

Using navigation techniques can greatly improve the usability of your web site. This also means user satisfaction and return rates.

One of the fine points in making a site easy to navigate is to have a consistent menu that is on every page. By having this, users can move from each section and from any other section. This way, they would not have to go back to the home page or menu page every now and then.

Keeping the menu in the same location and style throughout your site will ensure that the visitors will quickly recognize how to navigate your site. If you have a different menu on every page, it is possible that they will get confuse and will not comprehend how to navigate your site.

Why It’s Important To Have New Content On Your Website?

seo spider crawlerSearch Engine Spider CrawlingHave you ever wondered how people get a number one ranking on the search engines? Is it because they are special? Is it because they know the Internet gurus? Is it because they have paid to become number one or is it more likely because they constantly update the content on their website?

Content rules. The search engines employ ‘spiders’ that ‘crawl’ and index the many millions of webpages out there. They are looking for new and ‘fresh’ content. Why? It’s in the best interest of the search engines to always look for new content because their advertisers and people who wish to advertise with that search engine want to know what interests people so they can target that interest.

Advertisers will not pay for content that is stale or not updated because yesterday’s news is the reason for today’s business failure.

As a website builder business owner this can be succinctly summarised:

* New content = new visitors

* New visitors = better chance of sales

* Better chance of sales results from better and new content

content writingContent RulesThis method is not magic. Since it is in the best interest of the search engine’s spiders to always be on the lookout for fresh and new content, and if your website is producing fresh and new content (at least once a day) the ‘spiders’ will continue to ‘crawl’ and index your website.

Think of this as a reward. The search engines are rewarding you for posting information that may be useful. The more useful the information becomes, the more you will be linked and your rankings will increase. Because your website and it’s information is useful, more advertisers are attracted to the search engines and they make money from the advertising revenue.

As a website builder owner, you can save literally thousands of rands by employing this method of keeping your content new and fresh. If you combine this with some of the search engine campaigns you will have incredible success.

Why Simple Landing Pages Work

Internet MarketingInternet MarketingAre you just getting started in Internet Marketing and you want to sell something? Not having your own product, you decide to try affiliate marketing (selling someone else’s product). OK, great…but how do you do it?

You can buy hundreds of e-books, all with different “systems” or strategies and you can find lots of free information as well. Eventually though, you are going to realize that you will need to make some landing pages.

What are landing pages? Landing pages are where you want your visitor to ”land” and once there, you hope they click on your link to go to the seller’s website, where they will then buy the product.

Why not just link directly to the sellers website? Why do you need a landing page at all? Well, it depends on how you are going to get your visitor to the seller’s site. A popular way is by writing articles, having them published, and having readers find those articles and click on the links inside them. The problem is that many article sites do not allow direct affiliate marketing links. They will allow links to your website or landing page, but not directly to the seller.

You can learn a lot about landing pages by typing in “What are landing pages” in Google. You will find lots of useful information and tips galore on how to make great landing pages. But just like everything else on the Internet, after reading 10 or so different articles, you may be no closer to making one and confused about exactly what you should do.

profitable product pagesProfitable Product PagesI believe the best way to get started is by making simple landing pages that pretty much say to the viewer, ‘here is the product, and here is where you get it“. I don’t do a lot of “pre-selling” on my landing pages and many Internet marketers would disagree with that. The common consensus is that you should warm your visitor up to the sale by reviewing the item and/or telling them how great it is.

The problem with that is that it is difficult to write convincingly about something you know little about. Another problem for beginners is that their writing skills may not be up to par…at least not yet. That is why I recommend setting up something simple at first.

My opinion is that it is my job (or you might say the landing page’s job) to get the visitor to the seller’s website. It is the seller’s job from there to convert the sale. I sort of just open the door for customers to walk through and let the product and shopkeeper do the rest. If they can’t do their job, then I have to at some time or other, move to another product.

blogBlogI suggest opening a blogger.com account or Wordpress.com account (which are both free) and use those as your landing pages. Make your site as pretty and colour co-ordinated as you can (some people will obviously be better at this than others,) and do a lot of copying and pasting graphics and words from your sellers website. Only use one link to the seller’s website though, as using free blogs for marketing is frowned on, and if you overdo it they could suspend you. Ideally you should get your own domain and hosting but that can be done once you start making money. If you have a Wordpress blog you can even go to YouTube and perhaps find a video about the product you are selling and put that in your blog. Looks great and I’ve done it.

Basically you are making a big advertisement that says “This is where you get so and so product”. If the people you drive to your blog want that product, then they will click on the link to find out more. Once they do that, you have done your job. Making a landing page is the easy part…..getting targeted traffic to your website or blog is much harder.
